We can really be proud of S. H. S. talent. We were also entertained by professionals from the Antrim Bureau. Our first such assembly was a romantic comedy by W. S. Gilbert entitled Sweethearts. Lucille and Ray Baille were the stars of this show. Lendennans Society Circus Review was given by Mr. and Mrs. Lender- man, and was enjoyed by everyone. On February 24, Charles Ramsden gave a very interesting and educational program dealing with music. The instruments he played were ukulele, Spanish and Hawaiian guitars and his own electronic novatar. During the month of February we were fortunate to have one of the outstanding citizens of Sheffield, Colonel Ayres, speak to us about the experiences and travels of his army life. During the months of April and May we were again en- tertained by professionals: W. Emerson Scott, Table Tennis Stars, and the Wallace Chime Trio. The cheerleaders had a lot to do with the assemblies. Before most of the games they led the student body in cheers for victory. We can't forget our High School Band for getting our assemblies off with their march tunes. We hope that a few of these events will remain in your thouynts and bring you back once again to the halls of S. H. S. in your fondest memories. f. H. The parade disbanded at the township building where students met with their homeroom teachers to receive tickets worth twenty-cents. These tickets were cbnated by the Sheffield merchants. The party, sponsored by the junior Class, began with dancing in the gym, followed by the gand march which proceeded to the auditorium where judging of costumes was held. Prizes were given to Carol Stover, prettiest, Boyd Newman, most originalg and Larry Miley, funniest. Each received a box of candy.
