EL S5 HISTUHY llere IS the past of the Senlor Flass of 1952 Gee but these past slx years went fast dldnt thev9 llowever they were full of memorles and cherlshed thoughts ln the fall of 1946 a junlor Senxor lllgh School was formed and we were the flrst class of seventh graders to enter our Alma lla er Demg so young and tnmld we were not ln too many actlvltles and we often wondered lf we would ever be Senlors Under the capable dlrectlon of Vlrs Gustafson and our flrst officers who were Dlll Irwin, Anthony Nagumey Sally 0 I eary and Ronnle Bross we conquered the year and ended It wlth a class party ln 1947 we were elghth graders We were a llttle blt older and bolder this year Wlth lm Slater l ee Chamberlain Darb Sadler and loe Pellegrxno as our offlcers and Vlr Chamberlaln as advlsor we were once agam successful Our blg memory of that year IS that we won the prxze for the best float ln the Homecomlng Parade Remember we portrayed the Angels of Room 23 Also the Amerlcan Legion and American legion Auxlllary made their annual awards to ,llm Slater and Sally 0 Leary Dy 1948 we were Freshles and were begmnmg to get better known wlth exeryone Blll Irwln was once agam presldent w1th llosemarle Klelnbauer Patty Frlckson and Dolores Dalton as hls assistants Vlrs Custafson was also our advlsor once again Our class this year sported three lettermen The Band Cholr, Intramural teams and Varslty Daslcetball teams were also alded by our classmates ln 1949 we entered Senior Hlgh Gee but Tempus l'l1glt After electlng our offlcers who were llemman Wexdner Patty Anderson janet Ilulln s and Bob lledman wltb Vlrs 'VlacArthur as advisor we once agam joined varlous actlvxtles e had SIX lettermen this year ln football Forensic Competltlon attracted some of us too and we came out on top of courselll To prepare for our big Jumor year we sold magazlne subscrxptlons to F8156 money So you see we were growmg upll Oh how anxious we were to retum to school the fall of 1950 Why? Because we were ,lumors To start off we had to elect capable offlcers for our bxg jobs thls year so we chose Bob Hedman Dolores Dalton Sally 0 Leary and Barb Sadler As IS the custom MISS Rlchwalsky was our wonderful leader To add to our fund we sold pencils sponsored the Halloween Party and sold programs at the football games A successful prom wlth a colonlal theme was he d and enjoyed by all f' our lettermen were chosen from our class on the football team The Dramatic Club final ly reached our class as dld the Wolverine and Wolverette staffs Forenslc Competltxon once agam was entered by us Does xt seem posslble that we just have one more year? In 1951 we were Seniors First of all our offlcers were Pat Anderson and Barbara Sadler Jim Slater Patty Frxckson and Joe P8llCgFlIl0 Nlr Brown was our class advlsor Patty lfrlclcson was elected the llomecommg f ueen and her attendants were Barbara Sadler and Vladellne Slater Dob lledman and Ilm Slater were Co FHPIGIHS of the football team We were once agam ln all the actlvltles 'Vlany honors were bestowed on our classmates which are too numerous to mentlon here but I m sure vou all remember who stood out ln the Class of 52 and I am also sure that the Seniors will remember the good old days at S ll S for manv many years to come A flnal message to all students of the school Some dav you too wlll be Seniors Way you have as much fun as we hue had and mtv sou make as many frlends Always be faxthful to your Alma Water ' ' . . , . .
