Miss Carrie Mae Owen teaches seventh grade Language arts and social studies. She attended Arkansas State University, where she received a B.S, Degree, and Southern Methodist Univer- sity in Dallas, Texas where she received a M. E. Degree. Miss Owen enjoys reading, sewing, needle-point, and Crocheting. She also sponsors the 7th grade cheer- leaders. ' lil d Mix? Language Arts Mrs, Betty Doyle attended Southwestern Univer Sity, where she obtained a B.A. Degree, and M. S.U. , where she received a M, A, Degree. with Mr. Washington. In his first year at Sheffield, Mr, Bob Dixon is a graduate of Arizona State University. In addition to teaching 11th grade English, Mr, Dixon sponsors the literary magazine and teaches in the Evening Division of Tech High School. Mrs. Georgia Moultrie claims Memphis State University as her alma mater. There she received a B.A. with a major in English, She teaches 10th grade English and advises the Lance Staff and the Y-Teens. Interested in arts and crafts of all types, Mrs. Moultrie also tries her hand at writing. Several of her poems and short stories have been published. 5 l

A Q. and Social Studies Mr. Ben Boaz, seventh grade lan- guage arts and social studies teacher, obtained his B. A. degree from Lam- buth College. Mr. Boaz enjoys hiking trips and collecting coins. Mrs. Nancy Epperson, sponsor of the Junior Red Cross and co -sponsor of the Pep Club, attended Memphis State University and graduated with a B. S. degree. Here at Sheffield Mrs. Epperson teaches seventh grade language arts.
