Winner of the singles division this year as well as last year was Joe Vengrouskie, who is a senior. Winner of the doubles division for the second straight year was the team of Vengrouskie - Curry who barely beat out the duo of teammates Akers - Bryant for the trophy. As a reward for the showing in the local tournament the Sheffield players were sent to the State High School Tournament in Sylacauga. Vengrouskie went into the quarter-finals of this event before he was eliminated. Akers is a senior along with Vengrouskie while Bryant and Curry are sophomores.
