Each student's life is a treasure--a gem of sparkling beauty because each, in his own way has endeared himself to us. Each plays a part in making up the contents of the chest. Each is developing his life differently, but in its own way it will grow to be a bigger and better treasure as our chest changes from Sheffield High School to life. Around 100 people in- cluding Mr. and Mrs. Boley, several teachers, and former A students as honor guests, in typical Ro- man fashion ate with their fingers, heard speeches in Latin, witnessed a gladiator fight, watched a Ro- man ballet, and were served by slaves. Everyone was in costume, and many depicted such famous charac ters as'Cleopatra, Augustus Caesar, Mark Anthony, Homer, and the Three Fates. The food was a near- ly authenic as possible, and the dessert was composed of apple and orange halves, nuts, and cookies. The banquet was an unique affair, an idea originated by Miss Sherrod. KEY CLUB THE KEY CLUB develops civic leaders by gixing boys an opportunity to exercise their abilities within the school. The faculty recommends the members on the basis of their leader- ship, scholarship, and interest in the school and the community. The mem- bers are elected by the club. The club assisted in the TAPS drive and ushered OFFICERS at school functions this year.
