Eugene Ennis does a remarkable job of directing plays and transmitting English into hard h e a d s. We will never forget him for his perpetual pa- tience during our junior and senior plays. His ambition is-- to live longer in the future th a n I have in the past. Leland Perkins...the man who knows what makes the world and every- thing in it go 'round. He has just one interest, people, Could that be why he makes such a fine teacher! . s - as 5 'dig Fifth Grade...Ova Anderson is very in- terested in reading, golf, and good boys and girls. Her philosophy of life is Be ye kind one to another. Sixth Grade...Wineva Malone says The more you put into life the more you get out of it. This philosophy must work on some things anyway. She has over 200 ribbons from her show dogs to prove it does. E s CII'

zmff' Jon Clayton, Social Studies teacher and Coach, would have liked to have worked in exports, but we much prefer him as our man of distinction. None of us will ever forget Laura Peterson, as a teacher and friend, who has helped many by her good advice. We wish her well on her ambition-- to live a life of use- fullness. Norma Williams, educated at WISC, came to SHS this year for her third year of teaching. She can easily be recognized by the twinkle in her eye and a friendly Hi! A wonderful teacher and friend. Fred Schwind has a full schedule at SHS of Latin, Geometry, Algebra, Math, and Coachingg but he still finds time for his hobby, photography. We will best remember him for his pungent sense of humor and a joke for every occasion. A great man---this we realize.

Third Grade...Mabel Petersen's fa- vorite interests are music and read- ing. She has taught at Sheffield twenty-three years. Her ambition: To teach three generations. Fourth Grade...Pau1 Sowers likes to work with children, towatch them grow and mature, so he chose the teaching profession---of this we're glad. Second Grade...Ethe1 Serie is a Coo1 teacher. She hopes to teach in Alaska someday. When not teaching, she can be found writing non- sensical poetry. First Grade...Lucil1e McKie never would have been a first grade teacher except once started, she liked it so well she couldn't stop.
