c Success depends on preparation Everyone knows of the glamour and excitement that the Homecom- ing game, dance and ceremony pre- sented. But how many realize all the time and preparations necessary to make Homecoming successful? Sharon Brussell, the Goldette Senior Vice-President, was responsi- ble for arranging the entire ceremo- ny on October 5. Her responsibil- ities included everything from finding stairs for the royalty plat- form, to ordering and selecting the material used for the candidates' dresses. Also, under her direction, the theme Making Memories was developed. Of her accomplishment, Sharon commented, I put two months of myself into one night, and I could not have asked for a better reward. Not only was this a reward for Shar- on, it proved meaningful for the Homecoming candidates, alumni, and fellow students. 22 Homecoming 1, Z, '41 x . I f ll
