'Sit back and enjoy . the Spring Special is here! ' On Thursday, May 11, the Cougarettes came together for one last performance in their annual Spring Special. The girls performed dances and routines which they had choreographed themselves, using a variety of costumes to set the theme of the music. Pep Band, directed by Darren Varner and Terri Trackwell, provided the music. New drill team members for '78-79, the baby Cougarettesf, appeared for a short performance of their tryout dance.
