Improvement was clearly shown in the fllm-making classes taught by Mrs. Thressa Curry. Four new cameras, tripods, and editing equipment paved the way for serious student studies ln the art of film- making. ln addltlon, fllm producer Ozzie Brown vlslted classes for two weeks in the fall to help students with their film-making. Reading was again stressed in the curriculum. Preliminary indications show sharp improvement in reading scores, said Ftoy Gunter, chairman. The impression that most peo- ple get is that math is very dull, very difficult, and no fun at all. The 1973- 74 school year showed those fallacies to be changing.
