The apparent gas shortage threatened to halt driving in the class in November of '73. But the highlight of the course was the steel nerves of the driving instructors. The impression that most peo- ple get is that math is very dull, very difficult, and no fun at all. The 1973- 74 school year showed those fallacies to be changing.
