A first impression is often de- stroyed and a friendship lost, when the subject has a leather jacket, tacky clothes, or long hair. It takes maturity to look beyond the exterior and delve into his personality-to learn his likes, dislikes, ideas and to accept him as an individual. As the year passed, I began to realize the worth of an individual. Groups became more than Jocks, Freaks, or Grease, these were unimportant labels that were attached and used to judge unwisely.
