FOUR-ACT PLAY REACHES FINALE WITH A major in apple polishing and a minor in big fime polifics, seniors began counfing fhe days unfil May 27. As fhaf all imporfanf day dawned, fhe class of l954 began fo reminisce and found fhey needed no sfrings around fheir fingers fo recall weeks, days, and momenfs rich in memories in fheir four years af Shawnee-Mission High School. . . sfanding in half consfrucfed classrooms as frosh, flashing newly purchased class rings as sophomores, advancing info fhe realm of upper-classmanship as juniors, and faking fhe sfand of sfafely seniors. Then fhere were uninvifing eighfh hours, unforgeffable falenf assemblies, loafh- some exams, and dreamy dances . . . fhese were fhe good ol' golden rule days. 28 A foof in everyfhing well described fhis class.
