As 'lhal all imporlanl day dawned, lhe class of I954 began +o reminisce and found lhey needed no sfrings around 'rheir fingers fo recall weeks, days, and momenls rich in memories in lheir four years af Shawnee-Mission High School . . . sfanding in half conslrucled classrooms as frosh, flashing newly purchased class rings as sophomores, advancing info fhe realm of upper-classmanship as juniors, and 'raking fhe sfand of sfafely seniors. Then fhere were uninviling eighlh hours, unlorgeffable lalenl assemblies, loalh- some exams, and dreamy dances . . . lhese were lhe good ol' golden rule days. 28 A fool in every+hing well described fhis class.
