That every student on the HAZEL B. WALTZ's spare time was spent aiding the mem- bers ot Junior Red Cross or helping Y-Teen girls with their organization. During her class periods she could be tound among many clothing samples, dresses, and patterns. The object ot her work was to teach the fundamentals ot clothing . . . Sophomore English and journalism tilled the day's schedule ot G. O. WATSON. Doc was this year's advisor to the Mission statt, which edited the paper weelcly during the second semester. l'le served as sponsor tor the Printer's Devils Club. When his routine permitted, he en- ioyed, you guessed it-tishing. Hazel Waltz, B.S. George O. Watson, A.B., M.S. Gertrude Welch, Wilma B. White, A.B., M.A. Kathryn Wood, B.S. RU DE WELCH was an instructor ot students who were L interested in learning algebra and geometry. She liked to C ,if f spend her out-ot-school hours playing a golt match, collect- ing records, or doing work in photography. Co-sponsoring the Camera Club and the Golf Club were extra-curricular activities which she squeezed into her crowded schedule . . . Senior English classes-three times a day--consumed a maior share ot the time otWlLlv1A B. WHITE. Her remain- ing hours were devoted to iunior English classes, the recently organized Boolc Club, and the iunior class. She tound relax- ation in listening to records. and otten attended concerts and plays . . . KATHRYN WOOD tound herselt sutticiently busy instructing students who cared to learn the principles ot home decoration and care ot the tamily and home, and ot Foods I-ll-Ill-IV. Miss Wood was an active leader ot the Future l-lomemalcers ot America and Y-Teens, serving as a co-sponsor ot both. As a hobby she designed clothes. May live a richer life. l'O 29
