To gef back fo P.T.A., we have been accomplishing fhings loo-fhings we are iusfifiably proud of. Firsl, we acfed as hosfesses fo fhe Second Disfricf Conference, which was held in Overland Park. An overflow crowd alfended and everyone enjoyed if and gained a greal deal of P.T.A. informafion. Our Parenf-Educafion classes were highly successful. besides helping fhe mofhers fo become beffer acquainfed. The Membership, Hospifalify, and Refreshmenf commiffees have also been mosf helpful in promofing a spirif of fellow- ship among mernbers. If parenfs would only come ouf fo lhe meefings and do fheir share foward knowing lhe ofher parenfs and fhe feachers, no one need be a sfranger in his child's school. Anchors in a Changing World was lhe fheme used for our programs for lhe year, which included Legislafion, lnfernafional Relafions, and Cifizenship Educafion. We can feel very proud fhal our school was chosen as one of fhe forfy oufsfanding high schools in fhe counfry fo be repre- senled al' 'rhe Eisenhower Conference. Miss Anna Marie Edwards and Mr. McEachen. who reporfed fo us on fhe Cifizenship Educafion program, were our represenfafives.
