Of course, it's the Girls' Pep Club. This year there were 19 pep executives or pep execs. Their president was Lori Boresow. Lori and the other execs planned the Watermelon Feed and ordered the bumper stick- ers, buttons, and shirts. The big disappointment this year for the Pep Club was Lancer Day. We made 120 signs and went down to the Village at 7:00 in the morning. We put up signs, began deco- rating cars, etc. Then we were really upset when it was called oft, said Lori. There was a dinner each night that a football game was played that the Pep Club, mascots, heralders, cheerleaders, and yell leaders attended. One pep exec, Brooke Haw, com- mented, Mostly we eat dinner before the game. lt's a lot of fun. The Pep Club tried to go to as many sporting events as possible. They usually rode the bus to away games and drove to home games. The pep execs also planned Homecoming and Sweetheart.
