Running for the joy of feeling free, Conniving to play a joke on me. Eating Mcnuggets, burgers, and shakes, Swimming and splashing across the lakes. BY: Bob Bradley We loved you as our brother and our best friend too. We still can't understand why he had to take you. You warmed peoples hearts in your very own special way. We wish you hadn't left so soon We had so many needed words to say The pain is still there and it will be forever. But all the fun times we shared will leave our minds never. lt's hard to accept this fact that you've been on your way. Oh Chuckie, we still can't understand why you had to die one day. Like the flowers that bloom with the beauty of spring and then are withered un- der the gentle sun's harsh rays, you have lived your short existence as long as was possible. And although we can no longer hold you in our arms, your remembrance will be held within our soul so that we may cherish the life you once had shared with us. Mrs. Noble had been a Biology and Earth Science teacher for 10 years at Shawnee High School. Mrs. Noble's devotion to Shawnee and our stu- dents was clearly evidenced by the many hours she was willing to spend with young people. She was, at one time, the advisor to the Biology Club, advisor to the class of 1978, and had been the advisor to the Student Council for several years. I-Ier schedule was never too full to accomodate a colleague, parent, student, ect. Whether in giv- ing energy, time, or just a willing ear. lShe also baked the greatest cinnamon buns.l Mrs. Noble was the mother of five children, a member of her church choir and active in other groups that assist less fortunate people. Clare's greatest legacy was her unselfish love for Shawnee High School and all the young people who passed through the doors. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her. One of the marks of true greatness is the ability to develop greatness in others. J.C. Macauley W' WU? y,1W'QL,Wf f77 fy f, W., , V , , ffi' ' f 5 Wg, Q.-,W - , Q y .R I 4' sg is f W f I' X2 ,
