Advisors, Ms. Freder- i l icks, Ms. Raynor. The debate team is a competitive member of the South Jersey Debate League. The season runs from November I to March I. Each week Shawnee faces a new opposing team on a specific, season long topic. This is our second year in this scholastic endeavor. George Spadea, Chuck McDermott. Dungeons and Dragons is a new club this year which gives students time to play all types of games in the world of fantasy. Students organize their groups to play games of their choice such as Universe, Gamma World, Stormbringer and various war simulation games. The Art Club encourages all students to attend and explore their artistic abilities. ln the past, students have worked on sculpture, painting, drawing, batik, pen and ink, posters for Network, and illustrations for the Literary Magazine. They also plan to do murals in the Art Rooms. The Art Club gives students a chance to investigate new artistic techniques which they may not get in a class period.
