The Art Club encourages all students to attend and explore their artistic abilities. ln the past, students have worked on sculpture, painting, drawing, batik, pen and ink, posters for Network, and illustrations for the Literary Magazine. They also plan to do murals in the Art Rooms. The Art Club gives students a chance to investigate new artistic techniques which they may not get in a class period. Each week Shawnee faces a new opposing team on a specific, season long topic. This is our second year in this scholastic endeavor. Students organize their groups to play games of their choice such as Universe, Gamma World, Stormbringer and various war simulation games.
