'S f S Starting as early as the end of the previous school year, the advisors and new editors plan the lay-out and content of the yearbook. Then in September, as the classes, sports, and activities are in full swing, the staff begins to gather the photo- graphs and copy that go into mak- ing the yearbook. Each member has a job to do, some very mundane, and some quite challenging. But everything that is done over the course of the year by each member of the staff helps create what is a fine example of high school publish- ing. Tecumseh has been a prize win- ning yearbook for the past two years after participating in the Co- lumbia Scholastic Press Association National Competition. With the tech- nical aid of Bob Elderkin, the re- mote reports of Jim Mclntosh, news and sports with Karen and Brian, and unpredictability of Mr. Steinmetz - homeroom period at Shawnee is an eye opener.
