Since October, interested students have met after school to pre- pare arguments on this year's national topic- Consumer Safety. The team is a member of the South' Jersey Debate League and has participated with other schools in the cir- cuit throughout the season. Fi- nal standings showed Shaw- nee in second place in Division B. Special awards were given to Charles Ensey for best affir- mative speaker and to Janet Law for best negative speaker.
