to I ' A nt uf, yi s The girl's varsity bowling team had a re- building year. The team had only two seniors, Gail Moore and team captain Anne Capocci. The girls finished with a league record of 4-7- 5. Freshmen Joyce Aydt and Chris Brandt and sophomores Terri Johnson and Jill Bie- berbach were the other varsity starters. The team's season had a bright spot at the South Jersey Tournament. The girls beat every team in Burlington County, and finished sec- ond in South Jersey. They advanced to the finals of the state tournament, and took twelfth place in the state. Joyce Aydt won several individual honors, including high se- ries at the Spartan Christmas Tournament and received an all-star mention at the New Jersey State Tournament. The junior varsity girls finished just under .500 in the league with a 6-8-2 season. The many underclassmen will contribute to strong teams in future years.
