Mr. Schmunk Named Superintendent Of Clark County Schools My association with Springfield Local Schools during the past 12 years has been extremely satisfying. Any accomplishments that have occurred there have been as a result of the outstanding cooperation from the stu- dents, parents, educators, and board members. These were the words of Springfield Local Superintendent Roy Schmunk when he learned on March 18 that he had been named the new superintendent of Clark County Schools, replacing R. Henry Campbell, who is retiring. Mr. Schmunk is pictured left at the dedication cere- mony of Shawnee ' s new building additions last December 7. He is pictured below accepting a farewell gift of a watch from the Board of Education. Board President U. Timothy Juergens makes the presentation as board members Charles McWilliams, Jack Kame, Dorothy Slagle and William Winkler look on.
