VJ. v. V and Varsity S The Girls ' Athletic Association this year sponsored five interscholastic sports plus a co-ed bowling league at Victory Lanes. As fund raising projects the club members cleaned the gym after home basketball games, worked a coat check, and held a Beautiful Legs Contest. New members were inducted in a spring ceremony at Cliff Park. This year ' s Varsity S held several activities and money making projects. The club held its annual break- fast at Perkin ' s and in May attended a Reds ' baseball game. As fund raising projects, the club held a free throw contest and ran a refreshment stand at home basketball games.
