Kim Burns, Rick Heck Get Top Billing in ' George Washington Slept Here ' The April 9ih production of ' George Washington Slept Here ' brought a rollicking comedy to Shawnee ' s stage, with Kim Burns and Rick Heck (pictured at right) giving the audience full measure of laughter as they portrayed the city -bred Fullers - bent on restoring an old house. The story opens with Newton Fuller showing his family the quaint old house that he just bought. As it turns out, the old house is not Buckingham Palace. However, the house is restored and the Fullers just begin to enjoy it when a banker who wants the mortgage payment arrives. To add to the hilarious plot, daughter Madge falls in love with a local actor and nephew Raymond intimidates the Fullers ' maid. Directing the fun-filled performance was Mrs. Beth Hearlihy, assisted by Student Director Cyndy Baker.
