Naomi Reed Stars in The Diary of Anne Frank ' January 31st brought the tense drama, ' The Diary of Anne Frank, ' to Shawnee ' s stage with Thespian Society President Naomi Reed portraying Anne. The ' attic Annex ' and the Jews (including the Frank fam- ily) who hid there for three years during World War II to escape the terror of the Gestapo were realistically brought to life in this production. The story told in the drama is especially poignant, for it is true, and Anne ' s diary was actually found by her father who survived the horrors of a Nazi concentration camp . This play, which marked the directing debut at Shawnee for Mr . Dave Railsback , proved an exciting and memorable evening for the capacity crowd in attendance . Mi.
