Shawnee Gridders Cop First C. B. C. Crown Shawnee gridders once again upheld ihe football tradi- tion at SHS by blasting through a 7-2 season to grab the Championship in the first season of Central Buckeye Confer- ence competition. Strong defense was the force behind the outstanding ' 74 Brave powerhouse, as they blanked six of their opponents and wound up the season with a total of 143 points against only 37 for the opposition. The ' 74-75 school year was The Year of Championships for the Shawnee ath- letic teams, and the pride of the ' 74 football squad cenainly paved the way for all the honors that followed. Look for col- legiate football history to be made by some of the Brave stal- warts pictured on these and the following pages.
