Home Economics Club and Secretaries Club HOME ECONOMICS CLUB As in past years, the club has been an active one. Among other things, it made pizza for the Pow Wow and put on a program at the Old Folk ' s Home. There was a cake decorating demonstration and a speaker from the Gas Company to further the members ' knowledge of Home and a Christmas Party and spring picnic for members. SECRETARIES CLUB The Secretaries Club decorated the second floor bulletin board for the entire school year and had two speakers from Dayton and Clark Technical College. The club gave to the teachers wreaths at Christmas time, scented paper holders for Thanksgiving, and baskets of candy for Easter. Junior Council on World Affairs and Math Club J.C.O.W.A. MATH CLUB J.C.O.W.A. collected money for UNICEF in the fall, and attended the Institute of Foreign Affairs. The club represented the country Greece in the For- eign Bazaar at the Dayton Mall, and sent Greg Twait, Greg Myers, and Ed LeFever to the Interna- tional Quiz. In May, the club sponsored the awards recognition banquet for the Dayton Council on World Affairs . Two field trips to Dayton to visit Cassano ' s Enter- prises to observe its computer systems and the Dayton Museum of Natural History planetarium highlighted this year ' s activities of the Math Club. The club drafted a constitution and made available a tutorial system to the math teachers for any students having difficulty with math.
