Shawnee ' s first annual Sadie Hawkins Dance was just the right medicine. Kathy Ruef and Steve Wertz reigned as Daisy Mae and Li ' l Abner. With the crowning of Bob Rutan as undisputed hog- calling champion of the night and the granting of of- ficial Dog Patch marriage licenses, this very success- ful dance shows every sign of becoming a worthwhile tradition.
