In the course of the 196 3-64 year the Concert Band traveled to the District Band Contest, where it received an excellent rating, and performed several concerts. The Sixth Annual Coffee Concert and a series of four concerts, given at Shawnee, Possum, Rockway and Reid, were the highlights of the year ' s activities. 78

There were two vocal groups, the Mixed Vocal En- semble and soloist Richard Cory and two instrumental groups, the Flute Quartet and soloist David Cherry- holmes.
