City Speckman Steve Aud Low Hurdlers Our thinclads, coached by Paul Creager, who is leaving Shawnee this year, finished their season on the cinder path with three wins and two losses in dual meets. The team was strong in field events; last year ' s grad- uation took its highest toll in hurdles and dashes, but a number of sophomores are trying hard and developing well. Jim Murphy, Bob Binkley, Barry Brooks, Ste e Crane, Coach Clingman 9of Under the tutelage of Dave Clingman, our putt and par boys brought home the Mad River Valley League Trophy after winning the tournament. In regular play they won two and lost six; one match was lost by a mere half stroke. Barry Brooks and Ste ve Crane had low medal rounds of 39 for nine holes at Reid and Barry Brooks scored an 82 for team medalist honors for eighteen holes at Snyder Park.
