The heart of Key Clubbing lies in the individual club and in our initiative and resourcefulness in meeting the needs of our school and community. Annual con- ventions enable club delegates to formulate programs which give participants a valuable fund of knowledge on democratic procedure, self-expression, and self-confidence. This organization, the highest achieve- ment a student can obtain while at Shawnee, initiates its new members during an impressive candlelight ceremony. The service concludes with an oath ad- ministered by the chaplain to the new members, this year twenty juniors, six seniors and an honorary member.
