Juniors l 1 Officers President - - - Ron Hefner Vice-President Darlene Downhower Secretary ---- Sue Allion Ex-treasurer - - Diane McComb Treasurer - - Bob Hamilton Advisers Beatrice Guyton John Starling The four class officers, as members of the junior play cast, enact an imaginary scene on the stage of the comedy, THE BIG SURPRISE. McComb, Allion, Downhower, Hctncr. Junior Class This year has been a time of hard work and careful planning for Shawnee's juniors. Class spirit, when nourished by success in numerous proiects, has thrived as never before. Among their undertakings was the purchase of class rings, an important event for everyone. With thought for the production of a memorable prom, class members whole-heartedly supported money - making activities. Their greatest achievement was The Big Surprise, a three act comedy presented in November. The sale of Christmas cards, the year-round collection of tax stamps, and performance as a carnival clean-up detail also increased the treasury. In addition to class activities, these juniors participated in all of Shawnee's organizations and special events- Music and athletics claimed their share of talent as class members steadily im- proved their skill. But surpassing all else was the growth experienced during the past nine months-growth as an organization and as individuals. Electing a new treasurer. Carnival clean-up.
