Freshmen! Now surely the world lay at our feet and we set out to prove it with all the energy we could muster. We took part in all phases of school life and determined to outshine the upper-classmen, whom we secretly admired. eniors Da-de-da-de-da-dag Vote For Judy! In 1948 we emerged from grade school and were thoroughly convinced that we were at last men and women ofthe world. The seventh grade class, staffed by Dick Tomlinson, president, Ann Van Meter, vice-president, Jean Lotz, secretary, and Jim Bradford, treasurer, quickly moved into the eighth grade position with Ann Van Meter, president, Dick Tomlinson, vice-president, Jim Bradford, secretary, and Betty Miller, treasurer. How well we remember the thrill of being part of high school activities, attending the assem- blies and pep sessions, using the senior playground, visiting the library, and eating at the store. These privileges brought with them responsibility and we began the slow, hard process of grow- ing up.
