The promotion of guidance assemblies and diagnostical tests has helped Mr. Knecht in his goal to fit each student at Shawnee into his place in school and life. Mr. Lappin has been the superin- tendent of Shawnee High School since its erection in l926. Under his able guidance, Shawnee has become known throughout the state for its progressiveness not only in educa- tion but in organization as well. ln i938 the new wing was added to the school.
