Director: Becl y Buckman One typical morning you wal e up, rub tlie sleep from your eyes and suddenly, it hits yo u smack in the face: Hey I ' m a Senior! You think of all the years that you ' ve dreamed of making it this far. You think back- way back- about twelve long years ago to the first day of school. Remember it? Mom saying goodbye and kids crying, that smelly paste and construction paper, the round scissors and fat crayons. You went through elementary school, making little friends, getting your first lick, playing kickball on the playground. And soon, you went from a great big sixth grader to a little seventh grader. You felt like the lowest form of academic life on earth, a runt in a Pygmie tribe, lost in a forest of Juniors and Seniors. These were the years you prepared for life in big, bad Senior High School: the years of CORE, Home Ec, and Shop; several teachers instead of just one or two, the beginning of real homework. Then, in a blur of teachers, friends and time, you have passed the Prom and Ring Day, suddenly you are in Grade Twelve. There ' s no class to look up to any more; your class is it. Everyone pays special attention to you because you ' ll be the one of the very next to go . Every year, classes below are steadily pushing you and your companions closer and closer to the edge of the big, wide world. Now you ' ve arrived. It ' s really just a small step before . . . You wake up out of a daze and realize you ' re late. You quickly start Into a daily routine that will end all too soon.
