Hard charging fullback Bill Routh, guard Buddy Cypert, and end Jerry Carlton were the leaders of the Wolfpack. Routh led the team in rushing with 4.0 yards per carry. Cypert, who was an outstanding defensive player, was chosen on the Tulsa World's All-State team. Carlton was the team's leading pass receiver. These three seniors were also chosen on the Mid-State All- Conference team. Coach Paul Greene has high hopes for next year's team. He has ten returning lettermen. Among these are Bob McFarling, first string tailbaclcg Gary Bryant, first string tackle, and Doug Wilson, first string end.
