Although in the background, the influence of the Board of Education is constantly felt. Through their generosity, we, as students, have gained many advantages denied other students in other schools. Because of their faith in us, we have maintained higher standards and ideals. Theirs is not an easy task, and their willing efforts have not always met with popular approval, but it should be realized that our needs have always been the determining factor in any of their decisions. The Board of Education truly symbolizes the American way of life, and it is hoped that through their endeavors we may be better equipped to meet life's problems in this changing world.
