Library aids make sure that a great variety of good books, newspapers, and magazines are readily available, while the audio-visual team televises Shaw news broadcasts, assemblies, and instruction sessions on various subjects over the closed-circuit SHS-TV station. The choice of a college is one of the most important decisions a high school student has to make. The function of College Club is to present information to the student so that his choice can be made with more ease. Through lectures by individual college representatives, bus trips to nearby college campuses, and the $50 scholarship program for deserving Shaw graduates, College Club aids many students in taking their first step toward higher education. COLLEGE CLUB Our Lifesaving Club is constantly on the alert for cries of “help.” They devote their after school time to assure all swimmers of a safe evening at the pool.
