Miss Dillingham, the sponsor of French Club, showed throughout the year the slides she had taken of France during her visit there last summer. The club also enjoyed a Christmas party, Fete de Noel a la Franfaise, the Mardi Gras, and a French dinner with food prepared by the members. A French student would certainly miss a great deal of fun and opportunity if he didn’t participate in the activities of French Club. Top Row: J. Fenton. T. Butler. M. Hcisler. C. Seaman. J. Salosky. Through hard work and willingness to practice, the Hi-Liters have developed the only dance routine team of its kind in the Lake Erie League. This year the girls not only performed at football games but also at basketball games and rallies. The girls, along with the rhythm of the Shaw band, participated in the High School Band Day at Baldwin-Wallace College. Besides the regular line of twelve girls, there are three understudies who fill in should a regular be absent. UNDERSTUDIES G. Brown E. Reed L. Shone

Enjoyment is the keynote for the lounge, where the concession stand workers seek to appease the students’ appetites to a background of music provided by the sound-equipment operators. Library aids make sure that a great variety of good books, newspapers, and magazines are readily available, while the audio-visual team televises Shaw news broadcasts, assemblies, and instruction sessions on various subjects over the closed-circuit SHS-TV station.
