DR KORB Serving as superintendent of the East Cleveland Schools for the past decade Dr O I Korb has won the confidence and friendship ot everyone His cheerful and pleasant manner his ready smile for one and all his sincere and constant interest in the Welfare of Shaw have aroused respect and admiration He came to us in the fall of 1939 from South Euclid where he had erved as Superintendent of Schools for twenty years ln the past eleven years Dr Korb has succeeded in upholding the best of would hinder her standing and combining the best of the past fifty years with a forward looklng progres ive viewpoint How well his leadership has succeeded is best shown by Shaw s rating in acadermc circles today Dr Korb has become a familiar and beloved figure in Shaw High halls and has well earned his assured place in the minds and hearts of the students Page s ' .
