Displaying a powerful running attack from the single-wing formation, the sophs got off to a good start by taking Benedictine l2 - O, tying Col- linwood O-O, and defeating Shaker l9-O. Their lone setback came Lakewood 21-O. The Knutemen wound up the rest of the year by adging the Brush Reserves 25-O and deadlocking- East Tech O-O and Heights 7 - 7. A 6-2-2-l defense was played throughout the year with Center Jay Hollingsworth and Quarterback Fred Suppes backing up the line. twenty eight
