Any sport offered at Show is one in which you may earn points. A test is given for each sport, and this test must be taken in order to get credit. With 350 points you earn a small S letter, a large S letter is given when you have received 700 points, and a pennant is presented to any girl who has a total of l0OO points. The Athletic Council has presented the point system for each sport with one main idea in mind. That purpose is to get girls interested in sports and to create keener competition among them.

Dressed in white, they are easily distinguished from the rest of the class and are seen checking each girl's uniform while taking' attendance. ln addition to these duties, the leaders help in grading their classmates and assist in teaching them games. The club has no set time for meetings, but Miss Chamberlain calls them together as often as she feels it is necessary. The leading event sponsored by the Leaders' Club is the Posture con- test. The title of posture queen was g-iven this year to Helen Cain, with: Marian Lucas, and Gerry Lyons as her attendants. twelve

Creative Dances U H MY aching back. No doubt you've heard this expression many times on Wednesday mornings. These gruesome groans are brought about by Modern Dancers, who look like pretzels on Tuesday nights in the gym!! All sorts of exercises and dances are performed to the beat of a drum, the purpose is to gain poise and grace. Each girl is given a chance to show creative ability by making up indi- vidual steps, then the best steps are molded into a complete dance. Modern Dancers were featured in the Christmas program, when lO girls performed the Carol Dance. Modern Dancing is sponsored by the Athletic Council, and the dancers are under the leadership of Lois Gerstenberger.
