Entertaining orphans from the Berea or- phanage sending valentines to the sick at Sunny Acres and making dolls blouses and aprons for charity uses kept the 350 members busy with outside work alone. Meanwhile the program chairman planned other activities such as a style show teas lectures and a tafty pull for the meetings every other week Under the guidance of Miss Marie Kurtz the semiannual recognition service and Senior Farewell were presented in very impressive ceremonies. Governed by a cabinet of offi cers and committee heads the club had a Boy-Girl roundtable and also a Baby Party at which the new sophomore members were in- troduced. The final main event of the year was the sponsoring of the election of a Shaw king and his two attendants who were presented at the Annual Senior Friendship Coronation Dance.
