Indeed? At that time I was a young man, ladies, and a teacher at Shaw. You recognize me, do you not? Ah, well! It has been a long time. But who were some of the members of your class? Perhaps I may remember them. VVe eyed each other doubtfully. VV-e-ll It had been a long time. Oh, there was - - one by one, old memories popped into our heads, and we found that we remembered: Charles VVistar-Because he's been Presi- Aileen and Maxine Parker - Because you dent four times in two years. Marion Tissot-Because, while she may have had numerous encounters with Mr. Low- den, she has had a perfect record of at- tendance since second grade. Howard Pearce-Because he is not only a proficient athlete, but also a member of the Honor Society. Virginia BoothfBecause being first in one's class would make anyone famous. Lawrence Gow-Because fwith remarksj al- though he's Scotch he's very generous. Marvin Salovon - Because fPbfC2H302Q 3Ho2j never baffled him. Ruth Fraley-Just because. Jane VVarwick--Because she's never a dis- turbing element in the class room.
