In spite of the seemingly short period of time we had to put together Shaws' 1980-81 Memoirs, vve've completed it with the same vitality, endurance and admiration that has been the trademark of a Raider since 1978, the year of our beginning. The Sharaide was put together by a competent staff. We struke the hard work, the stress and the strain with determination, confidence and stamina. GIOAIL? if Quill and Scroll Society Quill and Scroll is an honorary scho- lastic organization that seeks to elevate publication standards, to encourage individual initiative in high school jour- nalism. Also to recognize and reward the individual achievements of students engaged in journalistic activity. In such an honorary journalistic society one must meet certain qualifications. The members must be in the upper third of their class in scholastic standing, and have performed superior work in some phase of journalism. Members: Carole Bedsole, Susan Bushaw, Arlene Chaney, Cindy Ellis, Mattie Criswould, Lynn Hamilton, Diahn Hollingsworth, Mike Martin, Cyndee Mooney, Robert Wright, Tanya Wright 133
