The mystery began when Mr. and Mrs. Cuth- bert Fisher returned from their vacation and found their ward, Faith Lloyd, was not at the station to meet themg their home had been occupied during their absenceg their suitcases and jewels were stoleng the lights in the house were extinguished and a lavender- clad hand was seen clutching the air. Consternation reigned supreme. In fact, new developments occurred up unitl the very end of this baffling and clever play. But the final curtain found law and order restored mainly through the efforts of Cuthbert, whom his wife had always looked upon as a weakling.
