F001' Twenty-two eager and willing boys were on hand August 23 to begin their practice. They were again under the instruction of Coach Mark Hodgson. A quote from our coach: As long as we have eleven players on the field, we have a chance. Let's look into our 1952 football season. The squad consisted of seven seniors, five juniors, and nine sophomores. We made a good start by winning the first four games. Then we traveled to Woodward and they took the wind out of our sails. After that, things didn't look so good for us. We lost the next three games. In our next two games, we were victorious. One of them was our Homecoming game and we trampled Cordell 34-0. We were defeated in our last game. Thus our total was 6 wins and 4 loses. Mr. Nunnery had another good Jr. High team. This early training prepares them for high school football. And so goes the 1952 football season. Row 1: Melvin Helfenbein, Bernard Null, Don Wynn, Delmar Caldwell, Don jackson CCaptainJ, A.
