With- out their co-operation with the faculty, and the sound training they strive to give their children, we of the school personnel could not accomplish what it is our desire to give the student body. I May l congratulate the seniors of the annual staff for the excellent work in organiz- ing, selling, and promoting annual material. Their attitude, ability, and quiet perform- ance have done much to make the task easier for school authorities to accomplish a suc cessful school year. Thisintelligent, efficient, and congenial group of seniors is quite certain to take its place in community life, after finishing school, and continue for civic activities the same character of performance. Every good wish for the greatest success to each of our l952 graduates. Sincerely, fw 0? ,,Q Principal's Message 'sf This is a period in world history when the people of the free nations are pray- ing that the world will not be plunged into a global war. Many people are fear ful of the future. Many believe the future will be so bad that there is no use to prepare for it now. While these conditions exist, it would be natural that our student body assume an attitude of indifference. This, however, is not the con dition atShattuck. Here every department finds students preparing themselves to take an active part in America's future, a future that depends upon an educated and enlightened citizenry. W li..
