aledicfofzian Charles Ray Swope was born December 16 1932 at Shattuck, Oklahoma. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Swope, Beaver, Okla- homa. Charles has made a straight A aver- age all through high school and has been a member of the National Honor Society all 4 years. He has lettered in football 4 years and has been manager of the basketball team for Z years. His hobbies are football and hunting. He is 18 years old and plans to at- tend O. U. at Norman next fall. Grant F. Walton was born October 27, 1932 at Shattuck, Oklahoma. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Rollo Walton, Shattuck, Okla- homa. Grant has made high grades all through high school and has been a mem- ber of the National Honor Society all 4 years. He was Co-Editor of the 1951 Indi- an and takes part in all activities. His hobbies are photography and dancing. He is 18 years old and plans to attend O. U. at Norman next fall.

The geniofz Blass 06 IQSO-SI We the Senior Class of 1951, in the town of Shattuck, the county of Ellis. the state of Oklahoma, being of unsound mind, beyond being taught, knowing that we and our possessions are worthless, do hereby, and hereafter, sign our unreadable signatures to this, our last will. To the Juniors, we leave our dignified manngrs and challenge them to try to have a better year than we had during 1950-51. To the Sophomores, we leave our chewing gum which is under the seats in study hall. We hope that they will clean it off for the coming Seniors. To the Freshmen, we leave the next three years. fPoor Freshmen, I, Lenora Eagon, leave my cute figure to Mary Ethel Yoder and Charlotte Batt. I, Adolph Ybarra, leave my Frank Sinatra voice to Duane Thompson. I, Bill Jackson, leave my athletic ability to .Terl Hamilton. 1, Johnalee Hagen, leave my solemn, dignified manner to Gwendolyn Bou- dreau. I, Donald Jenkins, leave my masculine physique to Donald Holcomb. I, Melvin Schoenhals, leave my ability to be chosen the most outstanding F. F. A. member to Duane Stout and Will T. Winslow. I, Dorothea Kellen, leave my love for typing to Betty Bogey and Mary King. I, Bob Ranck, will my past English Classes to Harold Starbuck, and leave without any books or pencils to quietly forget about school. I, Ed Matthews, leave S.H.S. wondering how I ever graduated. I, Geraline Roach, leave my book on Six Easy Lessons on How to Get Your Man to Henrietta Bush and Carroll Hunter. I, Leona Faye Manske, leave my horn-rimmed glasses to Donna Birkle and Delores Fechner for man-hunting only. I, Grant Walton, leave my pleasing personality and good looks to Jerry Mc- Nabb. I, J. C. Steadman, leave my position as center on the basketball team to Buddy Kolander. I, Edd Richardson, leave my ability to operate the projection machine to Darrell Nash. I, Lorena Worrell, leave my studious manner to Carolyn Woods and Norma Jean Bruton. I, Dolores Hoch, leave S.H.S. with the desire to become the wife of a cer- tain plumber.
